Ingredients1 cup white sugar5 tbl cornstarch 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp vanilla 2 tbl lemon juice 5 cups fresh blueberries 1.5 tbl butter DirectionsPreheat oven to 450 degrees F, for ½ – 1 hr before baking.Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minuntes, or until golden brown. If crust browns to much, cover sides with foil. Mix everything together except butter, fold together very softly. Pour mixture into crust, dot with butter. Cut remaining pastry into ¾ inch strips, make lattice top, crimp and flute edges. Bake in middle shelf until golden brown. CommentsLet pie sit 1 hr before cutting.Adjust sugar to sweetness of blueberries. Makes 1 - 9 inch double crust pie |
